SpeedBox 3.1 – Tuning Chip for TQ HPR50 Motors with Adjustable Speed Limit

SpeedBox 3.1 is a third-generation tuning chip for e-bikes equipped with a TQ HPR50 motor. It allows full customization of the speed limit. After installation, real data such as maximum and average speed, daily mileage, and estimated range are displayed on the screen.

How SpeedBox 3.1 for TQ Works

To activate the tuning, briefly press the assistance modes in this sequence: ↑↓↑↓ or ↓↑↓↑. The display will briefly show 99 KMH, indicating that tuning is active and you can ride at unlimited speed, limited only by your pedaling cadence.

Use the same sequence to deactivate tuning – the display will show 25 KMH.

Alternatively, you can activate or deactivate tuning by holding the WALK button and then pressing ↑↓.

We recommend activating or deactivating the tuning before you start your ride.

Setting the Maximum Speed

You can set the speed limit by switching modes in this sequence: ↓↓↓ and ↑↑↑. The current limit will then appear on the display.

You can change the limit by rotating the rear wheel. Each rotation increases the limit by 5 km/h. You can also use the WALK + ↑↓ combination to adjust the limit.

The last selected limit is automatically saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.

Installation Instructions

SpeedBox 3.1 uses original connectors for fast and easy installation. We provide detailed manuals and video tutorials to guide you through the process. Removing the tuning chip is just as simple.

Important: If installing the chip on a brand-new e-bike, make sure to ride the bike at least 10 km before activating the chip.
