Key features

SpeedBox 3.0 is a third-generation tuning chip for e-bikes with a TQ HPR120S motor that lets you choose your own speed limit. It disables the speed limiter so you can enjoy riding at unlimited speed, while the display keeps showing real values such as maximum and average speed, daily mileage and range.

Tuning control

You activate the tuning via the e-bike's control unit. To activate or deactivate it, use the → ← → ← button sequence to switch between two assistance modes twice. The current speed limit will briefly appear on the display and the motor will support you up to this speed.
To deactivate the tuning, use the → ← → ← sequence again. The display will show a cadence of 25 rpm and the speed limit will reset to 25 km/h. Your e-bike will then work the same as before the chip was installed.

Setting the maximum speed

You set the maximum assistance speed by switching the modes gradually: EXTREME → HIGH → MID → LOW → MID → HIGH → EXTREME. The current speed limit will then appear on the display. You change the limit by turning the rear wheel by about 180°. A cadence of 15 rpm on the display corresponds to a limit of 15 km/h, 20 rpm to 20 km/h, 25 rpm to 25 km/h, 30 rpm to 30 km/h, 99 rpm to 99 km/h, and so on.
The last displayed limit is saved after 5 seconds of inactivity.
