SpeedBox 3.1 B.Tuning disables the speed limiter on your Specialized e-bike (including SL motors) and TCU/MasterMind TCU unit, allowing you to ride at unlimited speed. After installation, real data such as maximum and average speed, daily mileage, and range are displayed on your e-bike's screen.

With the SpeedBox App, you can monitor and store all trip parameters on your phone – anytime, anywhere.

How does SpeedBox 3.1 B.Tuning for Specialized work?

Install the SpeedBox inside the e-bike frame under the TCU/TCD unit. Activate tuning by turning your e-bike off and on twice. Tuning remains active with a default max assistance speed of 50 km/h.

You can adjust the speed limit in the App or manually by cycling through modes (TURBO → TRAIL → ECO → OFF → ECO → TRAIL → TURBO). The default limit is 25 km/h. Each press of the WALK button raises the limit by 5 km/h. For example, 2.5 km/h on the display = 25 km/h limit, 5.0 km/h = 50 km/h.

The set limit is saved after 5 seconds of inactivity and must be confirmed by turning the bike off and on twice. You can check the current limit via the App or the + - + - button combo.

The SpeedBox App connects your e-bike with your mobile via Bluetooth. It provides real-time data, trip logs, and advanced features:
